Frequently Asked Questions

How much coverage do I need?

The answer to this question is determined largely by your individual needs and situation. When you're trying to determine how much insurance to buy, here are a few things to think about:

How much can I afford to pay out of pocket? Often, our finances dictate the amount of coverage we purchase. The amount of insurance you purchase is totally up to you and not your agent. You must inform your agent of what insurance coverage is best for you.

Factors to consider are what one can afford monthly and also one's needs in the event one is involved in a collision and there is loss of property and/or injury. Weighing these matters over, will help one decide which coverage would be best.

The more protection you buy means the price will be higher. Conversely, the price is lower if you purchase less. However, it is good to consider what you have to lose if you don't have enough insurance protection and we are responsible for an accident or loss.
